Palabras clave: rehabilitación cardiaca, factores terapéuticos grupales, bienestar psicológico y calidad de vida.SUMMARY Introduction: Cardiovascular disease is the leading cause of death worldwide and it affects patients physically, socially and emotionally. Therefore, it is essential to assess the impact of therapeutic group factors in physiotherapy sessions in cardiac rehabilitation programs. Objectives: To follow the evolution of coronary patients after participating in physiotherapy group sessions of a cardiac rehabilitation program and to compare it with the evolution of a group of coronary patients who do not participate in any cardiac rehabilitation program. Methodology: Longitudinal, descriptive, and comparative study with a quasi-experimental design (pre-post with control group), to assesses the change of 65 coronary patients who underwent a cardiac rehabilitation program with physiotherapy group sessions, compared to Control group composed of 47 subjects. Results: Significant improvement in self-perception of psychological well-being, quality of life and health status of subjects in the experimental group were found compared to the control group. Conclusions: Group therapeutic factors in the physiotherapy sessions of a cardiac rehabilitation program guarantee a comprehensive rehabilitation and promote an adequate quality of life. Keywords: cardiac rehabilitation, group therapeutic factors, psychological well-being and quality of life.REFERENCIAS BIBLIOGRÁFICAS.1.
