La investigación desarrollada se centra, fundamentalmente, en el estudio de las bases celulares y moleculares que regulan la respuesta inmune frente a tumores. Utilizando el melanoma como modelo se analiza la respuesta inmune anti-tumoral mediada por células NK y linfocitos T, determinando el grado de participación de los diferentes receptores activadores e inhibidores en el balance final de la respuesta inmune / <strong>The research is primarily focused on studying the cellular and molecular bases that regulate the immune response against tumors. Using melanoma as a model, the anti-tumor immune response mediated by NK cells and T lymphocytes is analyzed, determining the degree of participation of various activating and inhibitory receptors in the final balance of the immune response.</strong>
